Beatriz del Saz is a visual artist living and working between The Netherlands and Spain. She graduated in painting and engraving at the Faculty of Fine Arts in the University of Salamanca (Spain). Later she moves to Holland with the aim to learn new ways of digital image production, there she graduates in July 2008 in the Master in ¨Image and Sound-Artscience¨ at the Koninklijk Conservatorium and Koninklijk Academie Den Haag.
She researches about the creation of interactive works with sensors acting as controllers. To realize this Master, she has been awarded with the prestigious MAEC-AECID scholarship, given by the Ministery of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Spanish Government.
Currently she developes her Ph.D in Filosofy and Aestetics in the University of Salamanca; her thesis deals about the aestetic posibilities of interactive processes and real-time generation of video and audio.
